Creating a hand-made, limited edition book of wet plate photos of these riders, is truly THE LONG WAY

Creating a hand-made, limited edition book of wet plate photos of these riders, is truly THE LONG WAY

Each book is part of a handmade limited edition of fifty numbered and signed copies, plus five author proofs. A collaboration between photographers Susan McLaughlin / Paul d'Orléans, and publishers Carla Zarebska and Humberto Tachiquin (Tachi) of Cooperativa La Joplin in Mexico City.
This edition of The Long Way is presented in a wooden case that includes: the book, a numbered photogravure etching (by Mike Counahan), and a silkscreened envelope containing a map, essays about the project, and a photo key describing each image: the person, machine, location, and date.
